The first annual YIHP whitewater rafting trip on the exciting Kern River will take place on  Sunday, July 10, 2016 (Updated) The group will depart early in the morning and return later in the day after a 10 mile rafting river run.  There are 30 places available for the trip on five rafts, one of which will be reserved exclusively for  women. The trip will be announced to the rest of the community next week, but YIHP members are being given the first opportunity to reserve a spot on the trip.  We encourage you to book now before the trip is opened up to other Shul groups.  Children 15 years old and up can participate provided that they are accompanied by a parent. The Kern is a Class III to Class IV+ river, which means lots of big rapids.  Past whitewater trips were exciting, lots of fun and built new friendships and Achdus.  For reservations or questions, please contact Don Scholl at  SCHOLL613@AOL.COM or call him at  323-868-4390.  Don't wait; the trip will fill quickly.
